Raisa Andriana, known as Raisa, was born in Jakarta on June 6, 1990. Her father is Allan N Rachman and her mother is Ria Mariaty. Raisa has one older brother, Rinaldi Nurpratama.

Raisa, who is called Yaya, attended the Dian Didaktika Islamic Kindergarten and there Raisa developed into a smart child, in her class she often sings. After that he continued to SD Dian Didaktika, his singing ability got better and he was included in the Choir team. And when she entered junior high school, Raisa often got ratings, as she grew older her voice also improved.

After graduating from junior high school, Raisa then entered SMA 34 Jakarta. At that school, he went to school with another singer, namely Afgan Syahreza, who was his senior in high school. After graduating from high school, Raisa then continued her education by studying at Bina Nusantara International University majoring in International Business Marketing. Even in college, he is also busy singing.

As a child Raisa often sang even like a real singer, and her talent appeared when she was 3 years old. He admits that he was inspired by Brian McKnight, Alicia Keys and Joss Stone. Raisa was the vocalist for the band that was formed by Kevin Aprilio, and that was the forerunner of the founding of Vierra. Raisa sings a lot in cafes. From the opportunity to sing in these cafes, Raisa got many opportunities in a musical career.

Starting from being a RAN backing vocal in Java Jazz and who would have thought that now he is a teen idol. After Raisa released her first single "Serba Salah", Raisa received many invitations to appear as performers in music events such as the 2011 java jazz festival. And "Serba Salah" managed to set a new record on YouTube by gaining up to one million viewers within 24 hours.

His career peaked after releasing his first album, entitled Raisa. Raisa was even awarded as the best Newcomer Singer at the 2012 Indonesian Music Award in Jakarta and then she was also awarded as Best Vocal Performance In A Song (New Female Artiste) at Anugerah Planet Muzik 2012 in Singapore.

80% of the songs on Raisa's album are self-composed and Raisa is famous for mastering piano instruments. In 2012, Raisa released her second album, Heart to Heart, there are nine songs in it and it makes her even more busy with events here and there. Raisa has also been a judge in the 2014 Indonesian Idol talent search event.

In 2015, Raisa with Walt Disnet Pictures sang the soundtrack for the Disney film Cinderella in a song entitled A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes. Until now, the two albums he has released have made Raisa a TOP singer in the country.
